FAQ
What is the AI-First Talent Program?
Place-IL's AI-First Talent Program is a practical pathway for reserve soldiers and discharged soldiers to build hands-on experience, develop AI-first professional skills, and connect with career opportunities in Israel's tech industry.
What does "AI-First Talent" actually mean, and why is it important?
Being 'AI-First Talent' means mastering the ability to work with AI tools strategically and responsibly. It is not just about using the technology, but knowing how to apply critical judgment to ensure professional and accurate results. This program gives you the competitive edge to work smarter and lead in today's industry.
Who is this program for?
The program is for reserve soldiers and discharged soldiers who are graduates or students from year two onward in STEM fields, and who belong to one of the eligible communities: geographic periphery, Arab society, Haredi society, Israelis of Ethiopian origin, new immigrants, or disabled IDF veterans.
Do I need prior experience in tech or AI?
You should have an academic or professional foundation in a STEM field, but you do not need previous AI work experience. The program is designed to help you build practical AI-first skills through projects, mentoring, and a professional selection process.
How does the application journey work?
The admission process includes registration, an online technical assessment, a behavioral interview, and final acceptance into the Place-IL AI-First Talent Program.
What makes this program different from other programs?
The program focuses on real hands-on experience, AI-first work habits, professional mentoring, and direct exposure to employers and partners in the tech industry. It is built to close the gap between potential and market-ready experience.
Does the program lead to employment opportunities?
At Place-IL, our goal is to boost your professional value in today's market. While we do not guarantee placement, we offer a personalized pathway model to help you get there. Direct Access: connecting market-ready candidates with our network of partners. Experience Building: providing practical projects and mentoring for those who need to build their hands-on skills.
